Emerson has over five decades of experience with Siemens gas turbines through its Westinghouse heritage as the original control system supplier for all Westinghouse gas and steam turbines.
Today, Emerson continues to provide modern control systems on all Siemens-Westinghouse, Siemens V and Siemens Industrial turbines. Our systems are fully engineered migrations for the original systems and have been field proven on hundreds of Siemens turbines.
The Siemens-Westinghouse fleet originally was supplied with Westinghouse Distributed Processing Family (WDPF) or Teleperm XP (TXP) controls. Emerson provides provide modern control system replacements for both the WDPF and TXP system on all Siemens-Westinghouse gas turbines. As the former OEM on these turbines, we provide expert solutions and upgrades for the full Siemens-Westinghouse fleet. Options include integrated excitation and integrated vibration protection.
Emerson provides control systems for Siemens V series units, including drop in replacements for Teleperm ME (TME), Teleperm XP (TXP) and others. Our systems are user-friendly, easy to maintain and have been field proven to deliver reliable control of V64, V84 and V94 units. Using Ovation system to control gas turbine, steam turbine and Balance of Plant (BOP) provides performance benefits of single platform system. Options include Ovation SIS safety system for protection to SIL3 level.
Emerson provide control system for Siemens Industrial gas turbines, including former Ruston, Rolls-Royce, and former Alstom units. In addition to proven replacements for legacy control systems including Rustronic, Entronic and ABB Advant, we have a range of upgrade solutions for instrumentation, fuel metering valves and auxiliary systems designed to improve control accuracy and improve reliability of these units. Further options include SIL rated protection systems.
