DeltaV Lifecycle Services - Control Performance Solutions: Assessments

Emerson’s Control Performance Assessments are a combination of analysis, consultation, and some critical loop adjustments to optimize the performance of individual control loops and to coordinate the response of all loops in a process unit. The Assessments are broken down into 3 categories:

• Opportunity Assessment – Gain insight and recommendations from an experienced Control Performance Consultant that can be used to validate the feasibility of a Control Performance improvement project.
• Economic Justification – For those situations where a benefit assessment is necessary, a Control Performance Consultant can review historical performance, identify improvement potential, and estimate an annual monetary benefit.
• Loop Performance Assessment – A Control Performance Consultant will provide an in-depth data analysis to identify process dynamics and nonlinearities, recommend optimized controller tuning, and suggest improvements to control strategy and process design.
