Rosemount™ FCL Free Chlorine Measuring System
Product Description
The Rosemount FCL Free Chlorine Measuring System measures free chlorine in fresh water. The free chlorine system includes a transmitter (Rosemount 56 Transmitter or Rosemount 1056 Transmitter), a Rosemount 499ACL Free Chlorine Sensor, a pH sensor (if required) and a constant head flow controller. The transmitter and flow controller are mounted on a back plate, and quick disconnect Variopol (VP) sensor cables are pre-wired to the transmitter, making installation and startup fast and easy.

- Measurement Range
- 0 to 10 ppm as Cl2. For higher ranges, consult the factory.
- Accuracy
- Accuracy depends on the accuracy of the chemical test used to calibrate the free chlorine sensor
- Temperature Range
- 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°)
- Pressure Range
- 3 to 65 psig (122 to 549 kPa abs)

Features
- Complete system includes free chlorine sensor, connecting cable, transmitter and flow controller (pH sensor if selected)
- Continuous pH correction eliminates expensive and messy reagents and troublesome sample conditioning systems
- Measures free chlorine in samples having pH levels as high as 9.5
- Available with choice of two feature-packed liquid transmitters
