Metal Seam Welders
Branson metal seam welding systems can be optimized for complex applications including solar panels, HVAC and more.
Branson’s metal seam welders provide a continuous-feed welding process with no limits to material length or width. Systems are electronically adjustable to enable welding of a range of materials and thicknesses at different operating speeds. Ultraseam welding is easily automated to maximize cost and production efficiencies.
Our extremely versatile Ultraweld MWX-100 delivers high-precision continuous seam welds when running at 30 or 40 kHz. The system’s space-saving design features an adaptable frame that mounts easily and can be configured quickly for a wide range of applications. Conveniently located flow controls allow for fast, easy adjustments. A polar mounted ultrasonic stack facilitates setup and efficient energy transmission, while titanium or steel horns minimize tooling costs.
Our Ultraseam 20 system continuously welds aluminum and copper foils at speeds up to 22 meters per minute, delivering the ultimate in metal seam welding performance at a lower cost than fusion methods. Our energy-efficient, all-mechanical process eliminates melting and is ideal for all electrical-grade alloys and nonferrous metals. By creating true metallurgic bonds, it offers exceptional heat transfers. Precision monitoring and controls ensure consistent results and SPC capabilities.
Cost-effective welding for smartphone batteries, solar panels, power motor windings and beyond.
