pH is a critical process control parameter that is measured at several points in the chlor-alkali process. pH measurement is challenging as precipitated solids in the purification stages often plug a pH sensor's reference junction. Heavy metal ions can poison the pH sensor's reference and high temperatures shorten a pH sensor's life. Rosemount™ RBI pH/ORP Sensors are specifically designed to deal with the harsh chlor-alkali process. Multiple isolation chambers behind the reference junction act as barriers to protect the inner reference from contact with the harsh chemicals, while the high surface area of the reference junction maintains the electrolyte flow needed for a stable pH signal.
The RBI pH Sensor is designed for extended sensor life when used in applications with sulfides which are typically found in scrubbers.
The Rosemount 1058 Dual Channel Transmitter provides confident liquid analysis measurement in a wide range of industrial, municipal and commercial applications. It is a 4-wire powered device that provides multi-parameter liquid analysis for digital and analog sensors, including inputs from pH/ORP sensors, ISE, flow, current, conductivity sensors (contacting and toroidal), turbidity sensors and amperometric sensors (dissolved oxygen, chlorine and ozone).
The Rosemount 1056 Transmitter offers single or dual sensor input with an unrestricted choice of dual measurements, reducing the cost per loop and saving panel space. This multi-parameter liquid analysis transmitter offers a wide range of measurement choices, including differential conductivity, dual oxygen and many other combinations supporting most industrial, commercial and municipal applications. The modular design of the transmitter allows signal input boards to be field replaced making configuration changes easy.
