Valve Actuator Controllers, Instruments & Software
Make monitoring and controlling multiple valve actuators easier with our actuator control solutions.
Emerson offers options to make it easier to monitor and control multiple field-installed valve actuators without having to interact with each device individually.
Our DCMlink software application collects data from Bettis full-featured electric and smart electro-hydraulic actuators, wirelessly connecting them to enterprise or plant level systems.
The Controlinc Network Master Station is able to control up to 250 valve actuators, streamlining common valve actuator control functions.
Frequently Asked Questions About Controllers, Instruments & Software for Valve Actuators
Learn the answers to some of the most common questions about controllers and software for valve automation.
Network masters are typically used in large or complex facilities where operators need to control or monitor a set of actuators from outside the control room.
Using an RS485 host, multiple masters can be networked to the DCS. Each network master can connect up to 250 actuators, and up to 124 masters can be connected to the system, for an overall total of 31,000 actuators that can be connected. If using an Ethernet host, the valve control system is limited only by the capabilities of the DCS.
To download DCMlink, you will need to fill in the software request form. Each device that will use the software will need its own license. The DCMlink Solo version is available for free and provides real-time monitoring and control of asset data, profiles, alarms and event logs. The software is also available in a Snap-On version for AMS Device Manager for remote monitoring from a control room, available as a paid license.
