SIL Certified Relays are used for critical loops where careful consideration should be given to Line/Load Monitoring. Thanks to specific contact arrangement, GMI relay modules maintain higher level of safety while improving process availability, are compatible to any Line Monitored Pulses and are designed to prevent contact chattering, spurious load activation/deactivation, premature damage of the Relay unit. Some of the modules have achieved full compliance and are enlisted in the Alliance program.
When a consistent quantity of variables must be made available to a distant location, instead of wiring each process variable signal with long individual connection lines up to the control room, it’s advantagious to use a Multiplexer that connect all input signals to a conveniently located field with short connections lines to the sensors. Innovative space and cost saving solution with up to 256 channels per module, suitable for up to 16.128 channels.
